First off, this is awesome news. This has been rumored for a while but it’s nice to have it confirmed. Also, it begs the question, “will there be any more third party characters in the game?” Personally, I’m rooting for Generic Smurf from the GREATEST VIDEO GAME EVER MADE – Smurf: Rescue in Gargamel’s Castle. But alas and alack, that would make the game horribly unbalanced, what with Generic Smurf’s incredible fence hopping ability and grass leaping.
Seriously though, Pac-Man, Megaman, or Nights would be glorious. Olimar from Pikmin better show up too. And Jigglypuff. And your Mii characters too. I want to lay a whupping on my little brother as Princess Peach. And I will.
