I’m a Mac, I’m a PC Japanese ad
It’s kind of weird to see the Get a Mac ads in Japanese. This site has a pretty good write up of what is going on in the ad. It’s a lot subtler than it’s American counterpart. After that, subtlety goes out the window with a Razor Ramon video. HU!*
I’m assuming the one on the left is John Hodgman, expert on all world knowledge (including hoboes) in disguise. **
Also, this commericial cofused me a little. That’s not what a pasocom (Personal Computer, or PC if you will) should look like. It should look more like a pretty lady with cat ears and an Internet connection that is not at all creepy.***
