I kinda ran out of things about myself to talk about for the next two days, so the posts for the next days will be a little more random. Hence the story about my new hat. I guess this is vaguely Kentmas related, because if you know me, you know I like a good hat. Today’s post: Bring back the Fedora!
I’m starting a grass roots campaign. Remember the good old days when men wore fedoras. I don’t, but from the archival footage I’ve seen, they sure looked snappy back then. Of course, JFK had to ruin everything by going hatless. That’s why the Hat Lobby had him taken out. Anyway, I digress. I’m going to start wearing my Fedora out in public and see if takes off. I urge all of you to do the same. Get a fedora and wear it outside. Also, send in a picture of yourself wearing a fedora. If I can get enough interest in this topic (read: any), I’ll start a flickr account to hold all the pictures of awesome people wearing hats, like nature intended.
Together, we can make a difference (or look sharp trying).
