Back in the good ol’ days of the Great Depression, hobos left signs for their fellow hobos telling them about the area. Ex. Does a police officer live near here, can I get work here, is there an attractive farmer’s daughter here, etc. The above site is an interesting read, especially if you are considering a career change in the growing field of Hobo-ery.
